Unplugged Expressions is a 501(c) Non-profit Organization that offers free art workshops for schools and other charitable organizations to amplify the stress relieving powers of creativity.
Our Goal
To empower communities through free art workshops that are accessible to all and promote mindfulness. These workshops effectively blend science and creativity in order to support mental well-being. By demystifying mental health and promoting the restorative benefits of art, we inspire grounding, self-expression, and connection for all. We believe in making the remedial benefits of art accessible to anyone.
About the Founder & President
With a mixed heritage of Indian and Indonesian, and a childhood shaped by movement across countries, she developed a deep curiosity of human behavior and decision-making. This interest led her to study Cognitive Science at Rice University, where she explored the intersection of neuroscience, psychology, and behavior. Her academic and professional journey inspired her to launch Unplugged Expressions where she and her team empower individuals to use creativity as an accessible tool for managing stress and supporting mental well-being.
